Eskişehirspor defender Jerry Akaminko and Columbus crew right back Harrison Afful have joined the Black Stars in training this afternoon in Kumasi.

The Black Stars are preparing ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia.

Jerry Akaminko rejoins the stars after a three year absence. He last played for the Black Stars in an international friendly against Holland where he picked an injury denying him of a place in the world cup squad.

Meanwhile, Harrison Afful has been an integral part of the team including representing the nation at the just ended Africa Cup of nations.

The wing back flew in from the United States after featuring in Cplumbus Crew’s last game over the weekend.

Ghana are in group E of the qualifiers together with Ethiopia, Sierra Leoane and Kenya.
