Former Wa All Stars coach, Jimmy Cobblah insists he deserves credit for the club’s eye-catching performances in the on-going 2015/16 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season.

The Wa based side has been the surprise package of the season as they topped the league log for nine-weeks with some impressive home and away performances with their 3-1 away win against Hearts of Oak in Accra, the highlight of the glittering season so far.

And coach Enos Adipa who took over from Cobblah has been credited by fellow coaches and current players for the good start to the season but Cobblah in an interview with Capital TV refused to join the bandwagon.

“Wa All Stars season has been an enviable one and I am happy for the players and the coach as a whole but coach (Adipa) is benefiting from the hard work I left behind – a compact and stable team,” he said.

Cobblah has been linked with a move to the vacant Inter Allies job.
