Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah has congratulated his teammate Jerry Akaminko on his return to active football after signing for Turkish side Eskiserhirspor.
The 25 year old has been out of football for two years following an injury he suffered in May 2014 prior to the FIFA world cup held in Brazil.
The injury prevented Black Stars defender Akaminko from playing in the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament leading to the termination of his previous contract with Eskiserhirspor.
Akaminko has however signed a new deal with his former club and set to return to active football to the delight of Jonathan Mensah who took to twitter to congratulate his colleague.
