Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo has hit top form for his club side  Genk in the Belgium league.

The former Ghana youth international has featured in six straight games.

When Hammarby sold Joseph Aidoo to Genk this summer, it was the biggest overseas sales in Sweden for Bajen since Linus Hallenius went to Genoa in 2010.Around 15 million was the transitional sum when Aidoo left the green white in July.

‪The Ghanaian defender initially enjoyed a lot of bench but in the home game against Oostende at the end of September, he was given the chance to start debut – and since then he has not let go of his place.

‪Eight rake starts now for Aidoo, and during the eight games, Genk has not lost a single. Three wins and five defeats have been since the former Hammarby defender entered the team. In the eight games Genk has released a total of five goals, but in the last five not a single one.

At the end of October, Aidoo also made his first goal for Genk when he nicknamed the match 1-0 against the big club Anderlecht.

‪Yesterday, away from Zulte-Waregem, Aidoo started again in Genk’s central defense. It became 1-0 for Genk after Spain’s Alejandro Pozuelo had an early start in the match. The performance came from former Helsingborg defender Jere Uronen.

‪Zulte-Waregem then pursued a receipt but Genk was kept clean, and Joseph Aidoo was celebrated after the match. Among other things, Aidoo is named “Man of the Match” of the Sporza TV channel . “Joseph Aidoo was once again the cliff in Genk’s defense. With a couple of crucial interventions, he had a major part in the scarce victory.”
