Juventus are set to sign Manchester United right back Matteo Darmian, according to a report inThe Sun.
The Italian is yet to feature this season for United and it has been reported that Jose Mourinho has told the defender that he does not feature in his plans. The defender only joined United last season from Serie A sideTorino.
Juventus are keen to sign the Italian internationalas a replacement for Swiss defender Stephan Lichtsteiner, who apparently wants to join Inter Milan. Lichtsteiner, whose contract is up at the end of the season, is currently second choice right back behind Dani Alves.
Juventus boss Max Allegri wants Darmian to provide competition in the right back position, althoughleague rivalsAS Roma and Napoli are also rumoured to be interested in signing the defender.

However, Darmian has stated previouslyhis desire to stay at Old Trafford and fight for his spot.
He said:"I think it's good to have such competition within the squad because there are a lot of good players for every position in a big team.
"You just have to be ready for when the manager gives you a chance. I think Jose is a great manager, he's very hungry and his victories and successes speak volumes for him."
