Juventus Star Paul Pogba to Meet Agent to Discuss Potential Man United Move

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is set to meet his agent on Tuesday to discuss a possible transfer to Manchester United.

Spanish newspaper El Confidencial reported that Pogba will sit down with Mino Raiola to hold talks over the potential move back to Old Trafford.

United manager Jose Mourinho has earmarked Pogba as the final jigsaw piece of his summer transfer window plans.

And the Portuguese boss is ready to offer £100m for the 23-year-old in a bid to entice Juventus into selling their prized asset.

Pogba is to be handed a late summer break following his excursions at Euro 2016 with national side France.

Before jetting off on holiday, though, the central midfielder will talk to Raiola over any deal that would see him return to the North West of England ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

However, El Confidencial goes on to allege that Pogba could rebuff United's advances, despite a salary of £300,000-a-week being on the table.

Instead, Pogba could wait for any possible move by La Liga giants Real Madrid, with manager Zinedine Zidane thought to be keen on acquiring his signature.

Madrid's president Florentino Perez, though, is yet to make a decision over whether he will move for Pogba.

Pogba joined Juventus from United on a free transfer in the summer of 2012.

The 6'2 all-action midfield man had found first-team opportunities hard to come by under then-Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson, and elected to depart in favour of regular game time.

Since moving to Turin, Pogba has amassed 178 appearances in all competitions, scoring 34 times and weighing in with 43 assists.

He has won eight titles in the past four seasons with I Bianconeri, including a domestic treble last season as Juventus won the Scudetto, Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup.
