Juve's Paulo Dybala Claims 'in Some Ways We Are Better' Than Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern

Juventus striker Paulo Dybala has claimed that he believes his Serie A side are at least on the 'same level' as the other European giants; Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.


According toGoal.com,the 23-year-old believes that if the Turin side advance into the last eight of the Champions League this week and joins the illustrious trio then it will confirm his belief of Juve's parity.

The Turin side should make into the quarter-finals as they hold a 2-0 first leg lead over Porto going into the return leg in Italy.The young Argentine has been linked with both La Liga clubs in the past, but feels that his current side deserve a place alongside the top teams in Spain.


Speaking at a recent news conference the striker stated: "Since the Champions League started we've been at the same level as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich."

The Juventus front man also added: "If we get through, we'll also be on the same level now." Dybala also went on to make a bolder claim when he said: "We're also top of the league and we won the first match of the Coppa Italia (semi-final against Napoli). In some ways we are better than them."


Despite only scoring a solitary goal in this season's Champions League so far, the former Palermo player has ambitions to lift the European Cup: "It would be crazy to win the Champions League at my age because I only joined Juventus two years ago. Some of my team-mates have already won the trophy and I'd like to be decisive in a Champions League game."


One thing is certain you cannot claim the young striker lacks confidence.
