Head coach of Aduana Stars, Kenichi Yatsuhashi has appointed striker Yahaya Mohammed as the new captain.

The former Hearts of Oak trainer was appointed as the head coach of the Dormaa based side a week before Aduana Stars’ game against AS Vita Club in the CAF Confederations Cup after the club mutually parted ways with Coach Yusif Abubakar.

After taking over the team, he managed to lead the Fire boys to a two one victory.

Reports suggest that the Japanese-American trainer made the change in leadership to allow former goalkeeper and captain Joseph Addo to concentrate when he gets between the sticks.

Goalkeeper Joseph Addo has come under some criticism in the last two CAF confederation cup games Aduana has played.

However, the goalkeeper has named as the deputy captain.
