Kenichi Yatsuhashi targets Robin Gnagne as his first signing for Aduana stars

Former Hearts of Oak coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi has earmarked Robin Gnagne as his first signing when he is named as the coach of Aduana Stars.

After being shown the exit door by Hearts of Oak in midway last season, Japanese Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has been linked to almost every club in Ghana, but it seems the dust has settled now as he is set to be named the new coach of the Dormaa-based club.

And one player the wily coach has set his eyes on is the want-away Hearts of Oak captain, Robin Gnagne who has one-year left on his contract, but went AWOL before the season ended and seeking to depart the club he joined from the defunct Sogakope Red Bull Academy in 2011.

The Ivorian centre back was one of the most trusted players of the team under Kenichi Yatsuhashi and it’s been reported that he’s eager to team up with his former trainer in Dormaa come next season.

Robin Gnagne joined Hearts of Oak in the 2011 season from Red Bull Academy and was appointed as captain of the team in 2014 after the departure of Mahatma Otoo.
