Kevin Prince Boateng wants his Eintracht Frankfurt teammates to stay focus ahead of their DFB Pokal final against Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Boateng is expected to start for the side in a game they will be hoping to win.
They lost to Schalke 04 in a Bundesliga game and Boateng wants them to move on from that setback.
"We must not let this pull us down now," Boateng appealed to Schalke's failure to his teammates, "I'm proud of the troupe."
"The final is a highlight and we can still make it," Boateng said. "It's going to be tough, but that Bayern can lose is something we saw today."
Boateng netted six goals in 31 games to help the side finish 8th on the standings.
