Klopp says Liverpool will aim to take best squad possible to Australia

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that he will be taking his strongest possible squad for the post-season friendly in Sydney.

Liverpool square off against Sydney FC at the ANZ Stadium at the end of the Premier League season as part of the club's 125th anniversary celebrations and the match is scheduled at a tricky period as it comes between the conclusion of the season and a full programme of World Cup qualifiers.

The Liverpool players will surely be tired heading into the clash but manager Klopp has insisted that he will be taking his strongest possible lineup to Australia for the encounter against Sydney FC.

Klopp said: “No final decision at this moment. I'm not really in the thing (loop), but what we can say 100% is yeah, we want to present Liverpool as good as possible.

“It makes sense to import these legends and they're really happy about it. To be honest we will go with pretty much everybody. They will all go there even if they don't play, they will be involved with other things.

“We are not sure, there are one or two (who could miss the trip), but that involves other things, not international call-ups."
