Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars, Albert Commey have revealed that the club knows their ultimate and where they are driving at after beating Ashgold by 2:0 at the Dormaa Sports Stadium on Sunday in the Match Day 26 fixture.

The Dormaa based club comfortably defeated Ashantigold 2:0 to keep up the heat on Wa All Stars. Godfred Saka opened the scoring with a 31st minute penalty and Noah Martey added the second five minutes before half time.

With four matches to end the season, Aduana Stars have won six matches, lost three and have drawn two after eleven matches played in the second round with 44 points comfortably occupying the second position with just a point between the League leaders.

Many have tipped Aduana Stars to win the league despite Wa All Stars occupying the first position. Speaking to Asempa Sports in an interview, Albert said he is very optimistic of Aduana Stars winning the league despite Wa All Stars leading the league table.

“We will accept everything that is good but it is not over until it is over because you have to fight to the end but I will say we know our ultimate.

“At the moment it is very difficult. We know our weaknesses and our strength but we will still fight on. We made good recruitments from the start of the season but it was unfortunate we lost three straight matches from the start of the season.

“We will still fight to win the ultimate because we know our objectives as a club.” Albert added.

Aduana Stars will now play WAFA at the Sogakope in the Match Day 27 fixtures of the Ghana Premier League.
