Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah has been advised to overlook the Ayew brothers in his Black Stars call ups at least for now.

Reports in the media suggest Andre and his brother Jordan Ayew are being punished for failing to travel with the team for the return leg against Congo in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Managing Director of Databank Kojo Addae-Mensah wants Appiah to stick to players who will not give him problems.

“I still support Kwesi Appiah’s decision of not calling the Ayews,” Mr. Addae-Mensah told Happy FM.

“They are distracting the team. The attention is always on them whenever they are with them.”

“It’s premature to ask Kwesi Appiah to invite the Ayews.”

The Black Stars return to action next month when they play Sierra Leone in a double-header in the qualifiers.
