Kumasi Asante Kotoko captain, Amos Frimpong is optimistic about his side’s chances of winning the Ghana Premier League this season.
The Porcupine Warriors recovered from a poor start to finish third in the League at the end of the first round.
Kotoko were able to secure 26 points recording 8 wins, 2 draws and 5 losses.
Amos Frimpong who has been influential for the former Ghanaian Champions believes his side can win this season’s Ghana Premier League.
“Yes we have 15 more matches to play so I think all is not lost. I believe we can still win the League,” he told Starr FM.
“You know we didn’t start so well but we were able to comeback strongly to finish third at the end of the first round. And I was good for us.
“We still have a chance to win the League this season.”
Asante Kotoko missed out on both the League title and FA Cup trophy last season losing out to Ashanti Gold and Medeama SC respectively.
