FA Cup Champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko are reportedly interested in Togolese goalkeeper Kossi Agassi ahead of the new season.

The Ghanaian giants are beefing up their squad ahead of a hugely packed season, where they will be involved in four competitions including the preseason tournament, which is the GHALCA G8.

The Porcupine Warriors are interested in signing the veteran Togolese goalkeeper following rumours of former Don Bosco goalkeeper Ernest Sowah wanting to leave the club.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will represent Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup. They will be involved in Ghana Premier League football as well as the FA Cup.

The club has been linked with several players including former Al Hilal attacker Abednego Tetteh and Hearts defender Vincent Atinga.

Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kwame Kyei has tasked Coach Steve Pollack to lead the club to Premier League success and reach the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Meanwhile, Coach Steve Pollack is in UK on holiday but he is expected to return in time for the club's preseason which starts on November 30th.

Last season Felix Annan was left with the burden of leading the side throughout the season. Meanwhile under-20 goalkeeper Dan Lad Ibrahim is expected to be promoted the coming season.
