Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan takes blame for Ghana @60 match defeat to Hearts

Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s number one goalkeeper Felix Annan says he is responsible for the club’s 3-1 defeat to sworn rivals Hearts of Oak in the Ghana @60 match played at the Accra Sports Stadium.

 

The Porcupine Warriors were bruised by Hearts in the first leg of the Ghana @60 match celebrations, a game to forget for Felix Annan who committed two goalkeeping howlers that caused his side.

 

Felix Annan who was speaking to a local radio station in Kumasi, Nhyira FM admitted his mistakes caused the club.

 

"It’s very unfortunate because we were playing one of our best games of the season but I caused the team dearly which I accept blame for the loss, I’m sorry for what happened because when you concede such a goal, it’s very difficult to come back but I believe me and my colleagues will come back strongly,” he said.

 

Kotoko will next face Accra Great Olympics in the match day 14 Ghana Premier League.
