Kotoko, Hearts to play in United Nations Peace match on September 21
KOTOKO V HEARTS

Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak have accepted to play in a United Nations Association match on September 21 which happens to be the Founders day. Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm.

Both teams will honour the match as part of the Peace campaign ahead of the November General elections.

Kotoko and Hearts accepted to play the game in a letter chanced on by Ghanasportsonline.com.

The game which will also serve as a commemoration of the birthday of Ghana’s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah will come off at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The United Nations Associations are non-governmental organizations that exist in various countries to enhance the relationship between the people of member states and the United Nations to raise public awareness of the UN and its work, to promote the general goals of the UN.
