Kotoko management doubt team's quick recovery

Communications director of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Obed Acheampong believes it will take some time for the team to find the right rhythm despite the sacking of coach Zdravko Lugarusic.

Kotoko fired head coach Lugarusic for unconvincing results but are yet to yield the positive outcome of their bold decision.

The Porcupines have struggled to pick maximum points in their last five games and scoring just twice.

In an interview with Metro FM, Kotoko Communication director Obed Acheampong says despite providing the players with extrinsic motivation, only time will heal them.

"The players have been given everything. We do not owe them any monies. We put them in the best of hotels when we travel for games. They are lodged at hotels with wi-fi. So they get every good treatment players need in order to perform well. All these are done but the results are not coming. I think it will take some time for the team to re-find the right rhythm." He said.
