Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfield dynamo Jordan Opoku says he keeps God at the center of his life and derives strengh from Him even when his phyisical body is tired.

The midfielder marked his third switch to Kotoko this pre-season despite objection by critics that he is old and done.

He has since been phenomenal in the GHALCA G8 tournament and he disclosed Psalm 92:10 which reads 'But you have made me as strong as a wild ox. You have anointed me with the finest oil", as his inspiration when speaking at the post-match conference of his Man of the Match performance against Aduana Stars was the response to his critics.

"I will refer those people to Psalm 92:10. They should read it. It doesn't matter your age, God strengthens you when you rely on Him. Some people would say you are old but spiritually you are strong."

"If you have it (the talent) then you have it. The rest has to do with the mindset. You stop playing when you want to . It is only you who can stop yourself."
