Asante Kotoko have resumed serious training after their weekend break. The Porcupines who defeated Hearts of Oak in the President’s cup on Friday, returned to work at their training grounds on Monday morning following a rest throughout the weekend.

The team is scheduled to have another session later in the afternoon as they seek to firmly focus on their preparation for the match day 18 Premier League fixture away to Inter Allies at Tema.

Interim head coach, Michael Osei, who is set to be named by management as the substantive Coach of the club, told Asantekotoksc.com in an interview that, he was confident that, with the steady progress they have been making in the league competition, his team could be capable of securing the three maximum points at Tema.

Kotoko lie 2nd with a point adrift leaders Wa All stars on the Ghana Premier league log and will be hoping to beat Inter Allies on Sunday to keep the chase on the leaders.
