Asante Kotoko is on the verge of sealing a move with Berekum Chelsea striker Saddick Adams in a deal which could hijack arch rivals Hearts of Oak supposed poaching of him.

Inside sources have revealed that the player is currently at Kotoko secretariat in Kumasi to finalize a deal with the Ghanaian giants.

Adams was initially reported to have agreed a deal with Hearts of Oak but the Porcupine Warriors are set to hijack his move to the Rainbow Club.

The former Ghana U17 star has been in tremendous form after finishing the first round of the Ghana Premier League with 8 goals.

Kotoko is thus expected to confirm the signing of the powerful attacker together with Ashantigold forward Emmanuel Osei Carlos.

The former Ghana Premier League Champions have only made one signing in the second transfer window after completing a three-year deal with former Black Satellites and WA All Stars winger Emmanuel Gyemfi.

Coach Michael Osei is looking forward to bolster his attacker ahead of the second round of the League which starts in three weeks time.
