Kotoko set sights on Wa All Stars hitman Richard Arthur

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has set their sights on Wa All Stars forward Richard Arthur and are on the verge of securing an agreement to sign him.

Arthur was one of the bright spots in the championship winning team of the Northern Blues last season scoring 8 goals in 22 starts. Arthur has three goals to his credit in 8 appearances this season.

Supersport.com sources close to the deal indicate it is only an announcement away with the forward already out of the camp of Wa All Stars.

Arthur was billed to join the Porcupines prior to the start of the season but the move broke down due to some last minute complications.

Asante Kotoko has uncharacteristically scored fewer goals after a dozen games this season – 8 goals and have conceded 6.

Meanwhile, supersport.com gathers Wa All Stars have decided to recall in-form Noah Neequaye from his loan at Bolga All Stars to fill the space created by the impending exit of Richard Arthur.

The Ghana Premier League second transfer window opened on April 15.
