Kotoko to trade Osei Agyeman for Liberty's Samuel Sarfo

Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to swap defender Osei Agyeman for Liberty Professional's Samuel Sarfo ahead of the start of next season.

According to information reaching footballghana.com, the Porcupine Warriors are bent on signing the Liberty Professionals Captain but the Dansoman based club are also interested in Osei Agyeman.

Liberty Professionals Coach Michael Osei stated on Wednesday he was unsure of the stalwart defender's future, hence the club could struggle in replacing.

"Sammy is a hot cake right now and definitely some of the big clubs will need his services so let’s wait and see what happens,” Osei told Star FM.

With the latest development, this means Osei Agyeman could be a perfect substitute for Liberty who could lose Samuel Sarfo to the Porcupine Warriors.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have already brought in defender Emmanuel Owusu from Nea Salamina meaning Osei Agyeman could not be Steve Pollack's number one choice.

Samuel Sarfo was one of the top performing defender in the Ghana Premier League last season, scoring 6 times as Liberty Professionals escaped relegation.

His performances saw him earn call ups to the national team and the Black Stars B where he helped the country host and win the WAFU Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors are beefing up their squad ahead of next season's CAF Confederations Cup and the Ghana Premier League.
