Accra Hearts of defender Fatau Mohammed says the player he struggled to defend against last season was Kumasi Asante Kotoko winger Emmanuel Gyamfi.

The right back who enjoyed his best season with the capital based club revealed he could not keep up with the pace and trickery of the Porcupine Warrior.

Emmanuel Gyamfi was Kumasi Asante Kotoko's brightest spot in the most difficult times for the club, after scoring three goals and creating several assist.

On one of such good games of Gyamfi was against Hearts where he gave right back Fatau Dauda a lot of trouble.

"Emmanuel Gyamfi is the most difficult attacker I came accross in the 2016/17 league," Fatau revealed on Hot FM.

"I will be happy if Gyamfi joins Hearts of Oak."

Meanwhile, Fatau Mohammed is negotiating contract extension talks with Accra Hearts of Oak after several clubs inquired about his availability.

The player is reported to want around Ghc 25000 in order to stay at the club.

Fatau Mohammed spent part of last season with the Black Stars B after some remarkable performances but was unable to make the team for the WAFU nations Cup, which Ghana eventually won.
