Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Isaac Amoako has disclosed that the club’s performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League has not been bad.

The performance of the club have not being consistent in the second round. The Porcupine Warriors have been able to pick up 42 points from a possible 81.They trail league leaders Wa All Stars by six points, with only three games to end the season, it is possible the club will end the season without winning any silverware.

But he said the Porcupine Warriors would still have to strengthen their game.

Speaking to Accra based Class FM in an interview, Amoako said: “We are not failures because, look at our position now. When we started the league, we were at the bottom...; now we are third. So you can see the performance is not bad, but trust Kotoko, we always want to be first; that is the pedigree of Kotoko.

"So if we are not [occupying] first position, do you say we haven’t reached our target? We haven’t performed poorly at all."
