I will invite local players to Black Stars based on merit, Ghana coach, Kwesi Appiah has said.
Interacting with journalists at the unveiling ceremony held at the GFA secretariat in Accra opined " I want to bring a local player who will I will be sure that he can bring success to the team, i won't can for the sake of it" he added.
Nonetheless, he stated " I believe every player in Ghana has got a chance in the team, player both in Ghana and Abroad will be invited based on merit".
Furthermore, the 56 year-old said "If you are a local player and you merit a call-up why not, you will be invited.
