Ghana attacker Ebenezer Assifuah has played just three games for French division two side Le Havre since joining them in June.

Coach of the team Oswald Tanchot has been explaining the recent absence of the Ghanaian international from the team.

“"I'm not disappointed with him because I see in training that he's not at the level of what he potentially can bring us,” the coach said

“He was defeated at the CAN where he did not play, and then in club in Sion where he played very little also. “

“He'll have to work hard to get back to his level. A player who arrives at the end of January during the winter mercato also prepares the summer transfer.

" He is still young and it is up to us to help him regain a physical condition at the top because his game demands it. "
