Liberty Professionals assistant Coach Ignatius Fosu asked to step down

Management f Dansoman-based club, Liberty Professionals has asked assistant Coach Ignatius Fosu to step aside until further notice.

Fosu who was interim manager following the resignation of George Lamptey has been relieved of his duties and will no longer be working with the club.

The tactician led the club until the appointment of former Kotoko Coach Michael Osei but the team’s performance has been poor and Liberty has struggled in the Ghana premier league.

According to information gathered by footballghana.com, the top hierarchy of the club met with the coach to deliver the message to him.

Meanwhile, Liberty Professionals have returned to training ahead of the return of the Ghana Premier League , where they face Medeama next Wednesday.

Coach Michael Osei has four games to lift the club from the relegation zone.
