Liverpool and Manchester City face being trumped in the battle for Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud.
The youngster has been a long-term target for both Premier League giants.
However, Borussia Dortmund are also in the frame and emerging as favourites to sign Dahoud.
Rheinische Post says he is apartment hunting in Dortmund as BVB and Gladbach thrash out terms over a fee of €12-15 million.
Dahoud's Gladbach deal has less than 18 months to run.
