Liverpool 'Not Interested' in Signing Joe Hart Despite Recent Speculation

Liverpool will not make a move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart this summer, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Hart has been deemed surplus to requirements by new Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, and the Spaniard has already signed a replacement for the England No.1 in Claudio Bravo, who arrived from Barcelona on Thursday in a £17m deal.

Hart has since been linked with a move to Liverpool ” alongside Merseyside rivals Everton ” but neither club appears to be interested in the City shot-stopper.

Jurgen Klopp has already brought two new goalkeepers to Liverpool this summer after signing German pair Loris Karius and Alex Manninger, while Ronald Koeman recently ruled out the possibility of Everton making a move for Hart.

They, too, have signed a goalkeeper this transfer window in former Southampton and Fulham man Maarten Stekelenburg.

Both Klopp and Koeman seem content with their goalkeeper options having already signed competition for Simon Mignolet and Joel Robles respectively.

A move to Merseyside now seems highly unlikely for Hart, who will most certainly want a transfer out of Manchester City before next Wednesday's transfer deadline.

La Liga outfit Sevilla is one possible destination for Hart with the Spanish club rumoured to be interested in acquiring the 29-year-old's services on loan.

While Hart will be hoping he has enough time to find a new club before the transfer window shuts, Liverpool's boss Klopp is counting down the days till the madness ends after describing the English media as "obsessed" when it comes to transfers.

"I really wait for the day when finally the transfer window closes, because I can't believe how obsessed you all are with this," Klopp was quoted saying byESPN FC.

"You don't believe for a second in things like improvement on the training pitch."
