Ghanaian side, Lizzy U-13 team beat Spanish side Barcelona to top Group E of the Dubai Intercontinental Championship currently ongoing in the United Arab Emirates.
The Ghanaian side won all three games in the group, and were resolute against a high pressing Barcelona side.
The victory puts Lizzy U-13 at the summit of the table and will next face Canadian Football Academy in the Knockout phase.
The high tempo end to end action packed game saw Seth Obeng and Nicolas Ablido find the back of the net for the Ghanaian said in each half of the game.
Head Coach of Lizzy Sports Club, Nana Kweku Agyemang said, “there’s more to come for my team and we want world to know that Ghana is the gateway to African football. He added that, his charges will go all the way to the final.
