Luck eluded us against Kotoko – Inter Allies Coach Jimmy Cobblah

Head coach of Inter Allies Jimmy Cobblah has commended his players for fighting back to secure a point at home against Asante Kotoko in their week 18 encounter of the Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko took an early lead with a 10th minute finish from Bennett Ofori but Frederick Opoku Yamoah responded for Allies just moments into the second-half with an eye-catching 30 yarder to excite Coach Cobblah.

Speaking to the press after the game, Jimmy Cobblah said he side failed to win the game due to hard luck.

“We played well and I’m happy with how my players turned up. In football you need a bit of luck to gain results and I think that eluded us.” Inter Allies still find themselves in the relegation zone after 18 matches with 19 points in 15th position.
