Luis Enrique Confirms He Will Leave & Claims 'Nothing Has Changed' Despite Barca's Historic PSG Win

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has insisted that he will leave the club at the end of the season despite his side's astonishing comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last week.

There were mutterings of a potential change of plans for Enrique, who announced his future resignation earlier this month.

But he has insisted that "nothing has changed" and warned his players of the dangers of growing complacent after their historic win.

"I have not left my home, I have not had any contact with fans," he said - via theMirror, when asked about sections of the supporters wanting him to stay.

"Nothing has changed [regarding my future]. It would be a bit daft to change something based on what happens in 90 minutes... or 95."

On the mentality of his players following the PSG victory, he added:"Without doubt it's a handicap to assess. But I have faith in the common sense and wisdom of my players, to understand that we are in the final stages of the season and there is a lot do decide.

"There are a lot of opponents who want the titles, like we do. We have a beastly April coming up, nine games, and everything is still to be resolved."

Barcelona's next game is a trip to lowly Deportivo on Sunday, where they will aim to go four points clear in La Liga before Real Madrid host Real Betis later in the day.

"I'm only focused on Deportivo," Enrique said. "It will be a difficult game."
