Man Utd back at negotiating table for Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva

Manchester United have returned to the negotiating table for AS Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva.

The Sunday Express says Champions League semi-finalists Monaco are set to admit defeat in their bid to keep Portuguese international Silva at the club.

They are realistic enough to realise that as much as they would like to keep their side together players are being tempted by bigger clubs.

United are said to have first option on the midfielder, who shares the same agent as Jose Mourinho.

Silva, 22, who is rated at around £50million is also a target for Real Madrid after a series of brilliant displays in the Champions League.
