Manchester United legend Eric Cantona says Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema should be playing for France.
Cantona says Benzema's exile should be scrapped by France. He hasn't played since before last year's Euros after becoming involved in an alleged blackmail plot.
"Obviously we want to see the best players [play for France]," Cantona told France Inter.
"I want to see Benzema in the French team and, in my opinion, I'm not the only one."
No matter the outside support, France coach Didier Deschamps refuses to budge on his Benzema stand.
