Man Utd rocked as Real Madrid nick top Brazilian scout Xavier

Real Madrid have nicked top Brazilian scout Paulo Henrique Xavier away from Manchester United.

Xavier only joined United's scouting staff this year, but UOL Esporte says he has now defected to European rivals Real.

His prime brief is to stick close to Flamengo striker Vinicius Junior. Real want Xavier to work closely with their teenage signing and prepare him for his move to Madrid next year.

Xavier will also be employed to trawl the Brazilian market for potential new additions.

Real last week verbally struck terms with Palmeiras for their U17 Brazil World Cup captain Alan.
