English Premier League side Manchester City have completed the signing of youngster Aminu Mohammed from WAFA.

The winger who represented Ghana at the CAF U-17 tournament in Gabon is set to go out on loan after his £2million move from WAFA Academy

The Under-17 international impressed during a two-week trial at the Etihad club.

Mohammed, 16, caught the eye of City scouts while playing in a youth tournament in Qatar for Red Bull Salzburg.

His two goals helped them to a 3-2 win over Paris Saint-Germain .

The Austrians are a partner club to the WAFA Academy.

Spanish and German champions Real and Bayern also cast admiring glances at the winger, who has been likened to a young Neymar due to his goalscoring prowess and skill on the ball.

But City boss Pep Guardiola has won the race for the teenager, who is now set to be loaned out to a European club to gain first-team experience.

Mohammed is expected to play for Ghana at the Under-17 World Cup in India this October.
