Manuel Zacharias walks-out on Bechem United as Head coach

MTN FA Cup Champions Bechem United have mutually parted ways with head coach Manuel Zacharias.

 

The Portuguese trainer tendered in his resignation letter to end his stay at the Bechem based club on Wednesday following a meeting with management.

 

Zacharias had hinted at a possible exit from the Club after leading the hunters to win the MTN FA Cup title.

 

Reports earlier suggested that he was going to join Hearts of Oak who are still in search of a substantive head coach.

 

Zacharias took up the Coaching role at Bechem prior to the start of the 2015/16 League season helping the team to a sixth placed finish and hopes where that he will continue to lead the team to success in Africa.

 

The club on Thursday released a statement which reads "Bechem United have duly accepted your [Manuel Zacharias] termination letter and wish to mutually part ways with your service"

 

"We equally thank you and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors as a coach''

 

Bechem United are currently preparing for next year’s CAF Confederations Cup competition.
