Mario Balotelli Needs the 'Right Opportunity' to Relaunch Career Says Agent Mino Raiola

Mario Balotelli just needs the 'right opportunity' to get his football career up and going again, according to agent Mino Raiola.

The 25-year-old has returned to Liverpool after spending last season on loan at AC Milan, but Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Balotelli's future is not at Anfield.

Balotelli has since been linked with moves to China and Turkey with his agent Raiola refusing to rule anything out. "Where will he go? I'm saying nothing. Let's see what happens, I won't close the door on any solution. That goes for Mario and all my players," Raiola was quoted saying on Liverpool Echo's website.

"If you think Mario makes me despair, you're wrong because his life has improved a lot and now he just needs the right opportunity.

"Of course, he also needs a bit of luck which he hasn't had over the last two seasons, but I assure you he's a great person, a lad with a big heart.

"It is never too late."

One person who would not be so keen on Balotelli moving to the Chinese Super League, however, is Italy legend Andrea Pirlo.

The New York City midfielder starred at Euro 2012 with Balotelli and on his compatriot's potential move to China, he was quoted on Mirror.co.uk saying: "He needs to pick his next club carefully. I have read things about him and China. With all respect to their league, Mario should not be going there yet.

"If he has two or three good seasons at his next club, he will still only be 28 and could join one of the top clubs in Europe," the Italian said.

I don't have any advice for him anymore, he knows the qualities that he has. From this point, it's up to Mario."
