MATCH REPORT: Accra Great Olympics 2-2 Elmina Sharks - Dade Boys blow two-goal lead

Published on: 22 February 2017

Elmina Sharks earned their first points of the season after fighting back from a two-goal deficit to hold Accra Great Olympics to a 2-2 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium. Olympics appeared to be headed for a comfortable victory after taking a two-goal lead but they were pegged back spectacularly by a resilient Sharks side. Forward Abel Manomey scored both goals for Olympics in the first-half of the match, giving coach Godwin Attram's side the lead heading into the break.

However, SHarks were determined not to go down without a fight and pulled a goal back shortly after the break. Emmanuel Ankobeah scored with a header before Joseph Mensah levelled the tie for coach Kobinah Amissah's men.
