A brace by striker Hans Kwofie as well as another by Daniel Gozar handed Ashgold all three points in a 3-0 victory over Inter Allies at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.
The win for CK Akunnor's side saw them move out of the relegation zone.
Ashgold opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Kwofie scored. The former Medeama SC striker pounced on a lose ball to coolly slot home before adding to his tally with a sublime finish, six minutes later.
Unfortunately, Kwofie sustained another injury but Gozar proved himself a worthy substitute.
He made his presence felt, scoring the third goal to wrap up maximum points for the former league champions.
However, Inter Allies ended the game with 10 men as Abdul-Nassiru Hamzah was sent off in the 63rd minute.
Ashgold are now 13th on the table
