The Black Starlets of Ghana were held to a goalless draw by West African neighbors Guinea in the final Group A match at the Africa Junior Championship.

The results means Ghana and Guinea are through to the semis and have both qualified for the World Cup in India.

Guinea began the game dominating the early exchanges but the Black Starlets held their composure.

However, Guinea were forced into an early substitution when goalkeeper got injured and was replaced by Mohammed Camara.

Ghana came close to scoring in the 33rd minute when striker and Captain Eric Ayiah fired in only for the Guinean defence to block.

The top score came close once again when he fired from distance but it did not trouble the young elephants.

Both teams went into the half without making a real effort but Guinea began the second half more aggressive and stronger.

Ghana made it first change when Edmond Mensah came on for Patmos Arhin.

Ibrahim Sulley could have broken the deadlock but his header went wide and with time running out the game remained goalless.

In the other game of the group Cameroon beat host Gabon 1-0.
