Match Report: Inter Allies 3-0 Bolga All Stars

Published on: 07 May 2017

It was once again a wet afternoon and yet another home win but this time a big one for Inter Allies against Bolga All Stars at the El Wak Stadium on Sunday.

The Capeli Sport boys scored all three goals in the second half, Prince Baffoe, Samuel Mensah Konney and Ismeal Ntefuni made sure it was a comfortable win, 3-0.

Coach Prince Owusu made changes to the side that drew 0-0 in the last league game against Elmina Sharks last midweek in the Central Region.

Ismeal Ntefuni Abdul-Halik Hudu and Samuel Mensah Konney started ahead of Martin Antwi, Frederick Boateng and Isaac Osae as the changes from the last team.

A game of goals but didn’t look like that after an exciting half of Allies missing most of the chances.

Prince Baffoe and Isaac Twum both rattled the crossbar each during the first half, the visitors were entirely pushed back.

Despite attacking and desperately looking for goals, the hosts could not find the back of the net and held on until the mandatory half time break.

A different ball game in the second half saw Allies score early in the second half.

Prince Baffoe neatly headed home from Fard Ibrahim’s cross from the left in the 49th minute.

Just 10 minutes later, Samuel Mensah Konney met and connected Ismeal Ntefuni’s cross from the right side of attack to double the lead.

Ismeal Ntefuni finally put icing on the cake is a sumptuous finish to make it a comfortable 3-0 won for Inter Allies who had suffered to score goals in recent times.

Isaac Twum was named the NASCO Man of the Match.
