Match Report:Great Olympics 1-3 Bechem United-Ahmed Toure's brace deepen the woes of 'Dade Boys'

Accra Great Olympics poor season continues after they were beaten 3-1 by Bechem United in the outstanding fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday. 

The away side showed more purposeful in the game's early stages and got their reward when winger Yaw Anol pounced on a defensive mishap to power home the first goal of the match in the 3rd minute.

Ahmed Toure doubled the lead for Bechem United when he benefitted from another defensive error in the 41st minute to the displeasure of the Olympics players who changed on the referee to protest the goal but the decision stood.

Olympics came out strongly in the second stanza as they were awarded a spot kick when defender Alfred Nelson barged into Emmanuel Amartey. Winger Gilbert Engelbert scored from the resulted penalty decision to reduce the deficit.

Bechem United increased the score line through Ahmed Toure,who damned the goalkeeper Osmanu Mohammed in the 93rd minute to slot home into an empty net.

The home side probed for the equalizer in the dying embers but Bechem United shook off their late charge to record their first victory in this season's league, and deepen the woes of the 'Dade Boys'.
