Maxwell Konadu debunks reports of using Black Stars to lure Hearts players

Assistant Coach of the Black Stars B team, Maxwell Konadu has denied reports that he uses the Black Stars as enticement to lure Accra Hearts of Oak players to his former club Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

According to reports in the media the former Kotoko star invites players of Accra Hearts of Oak only to convince the into joining Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

He is also rumoured to be the link between the Kotoko and the Hearts players currently in the camp of the Black Stars B, reports that have angered the fans of the Accra based club.

However, Coach Maxwell Konadu has vehemently denied such reports indicating there is is nothing wrong sharing his opinion on players in the camp.

“Why will I use the national team to lure players for a particular club, I laugh over it when I hear issues like these. What is wrong should kotoko or Hearts ask my opinion on a player, that’s our job,” Maxwell Konadu on Nhyira FM’s power Sports.

Coach Maxwell Konadu is in camp with the Black Stars team B as they continue with preparations ahead of the second leg of the CHAN qualifiers with Burkina Faso in Kumasi.
