Medeama SC have congratulated Wa All Stars for clinching the 2015/16 Premier League title for the first time in their history.
Wa All Stars lifted the GPL trophy for the first time since joining the elite division in 2007, becoming the only team from the northern part of Ghana to achieve such glory.
Medeama SC was Ghana's sole participant in the 2016 edition of the CAF Confederation Cup but will was eliminated out of the competition by MO Bejaia in the last round of matches.
In a letter signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the club, James Essielfie, he congratulated the Blues from the North and lauded the as worthy winners of the league.
