Medeama SC goalkeeper Daniel Agyei is hopeful of qualification to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after his side’s one all draw with Young Africans of Tanzania on Saturday. The Tarkwa side are still without a win and lie third in Group A with 2 points.

They are back to the Essipong stadium in a fortnight to play Young Africans.

Daniel Agyei believes the experience gained by some players in the away game will help their qualification course.

“We are never going to give up and I know that things will go well for us to qualify for the next stage of the competition,” he said

“We were just unfortunate not to have won in Tanzania but I believe we will be able to beat them here.”

TP Mazembe maintained their unbeaten run with a goalless draw at Mouloudia Bejaia of Algeria.

That means DR Congo giants Mazembe have seven points from three games so far, and seem certain to take one of the places in the last four.
