Medeama SC have been handed a major cash boost going into the next group game against Young Africans at the Essipong Stadium on Tuesday. The Confederation of African Football released a whopping US$ 75,000 to the club on Thursday to prepare for their remaining group matches.

This comes as a big sigh of relief for the Medeama management who at some point threatened to quit following the financial difficulties.

The Yellow and Mauves have picked two points from three games and must win their last three group games to book a place in the semi final of the competition.
