Ghana deputy skipper Andre Ayew has lauded his former teammate Benjamin Mendy for his impressive display in Monaco's UEFA Champions League triumph over English side Manchester City.
Monaco sent Manchester City packing in the Champions League on Wednesday night, with a brilliant 3-1 win in the principality.
It was a performance that caught the eye of many including Ghana international Andre Ayew.
Ayew who now plays his club football with West Ham United played with Mendy at his former club Marseille and was happy to see him putting in such an impressive performance.
