President of Medeama Football Club, Moses Armah Parker, has urged the club’s players to get past the loss to Algerian side MO Bejaia and focus on their remaining games in the ongoing Ghana Premier League (GPL) if they are to make another appearance on the continent.

The Tarkwa based club were slammed for focusing too much on playing in the CAF Confederations Cup at the expense of their domestic league, which has seen them drop several points in many fixtures.

“We lost painfully to the Algerians and by that failed to make it to the semis. Now we need to focus strongly on the league and hopefully turn the tide around. We have gained a lot of experience playing on the continent and that should benefit the entire club going forward. The exposure for me has been great,” Mr Armah told Accra based Class FM.

Medeama currently lie eighth in the race for the GPL title with 34 points, 11 adrift of league leaders Wa All Stars. They will play Ebusua Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in their next game.
